University Malaysia Pahang Hosts Inspiring Co-Lecture on Water Treatment Industry

On November 12, 2024, a unique co-lecture event titled "Empowering Future Innovators: The Role of Science Students in Advancing the Water Treatment Industry" was held at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah. The session brought together 47 second-year Industrial Biotechnology students for an engaging experience that connected academic learning with industry expertise.

The lecture was led by ChM. Ts. Dr. Thomas Wun Wee Long, the General Manager of Technical & Innovation at I-Chem Solution Group, who shared insights from his extensive experience in the water treatment sector. Dr. Thomas highlighted the industry's evolving challenges and opportunities, emphasizing the critical role science students can play in innovating sustainable solutions.
