Muhammad Ammar Successfully Defends Thesis on Bio-Polymer Electrolytes
12 March 2026 | UMPSA Gambang
Muhammad Ammar bin Hairul Nizam successfully passed his viva voce examination held online on 12 March 2026 for his thesis entitled:
“Characterization of Alginate-PVA Doped with Ammonium Iodide Based Bio-Polymer Electrolytes.”
The viva session was chaired by Profesor Madya Dr. Mazrul Nizam bin Abu Seman (FTKKP), with Ts. Dr. Shamsul bin Zakaria serving as the Internal Examiner and Profesor Madya Dr. Mohd Hamdi bin Ali @ Buraidah (Universiti Malaya) as the External Examiner.
The research was conducted under the supervision of Profesor Madya Dr. Ahmad Salihin bin Samsudin.
During the session, Muhammad Ammar presented and defended his research findings, demonstrating a strong understanding of his study and its contribution to the development of bio-polymer electrolyte materials. His work provides insights into the characterization of alginate-PVA based polymer electrolytes doped with ammonium iodide, which may have potential applications in sustainable energy storage technologies.
Congratulations to Muhammad Ammar on this significant academic milestone. Appreciation is also extended to the supervisor and members of the examination panel for their guidance and valuable evaluation throughout the viva process.
