BACKGROUND
Green technology is an environmentally friendly technology that often involves energy efficiency, recycling, safety and health concerns, renewable resources, and more. The Green Technology Cluster (GTC) of FIST strives to excel in the area of innovative research for a range of applications for industry and bioeconomy from biotechnology devices. We aim to attract capital investment in the areas of green technology, industrial microbiology, wastewater treatment, bioremediation, recycling, microbial enzymes biotechnology, microbial fermentation, plant tissue culture, and microbial physiology. The GTC is teamed up with different disciplines scientists including microbiology, biochemistry, and chemistry with strong international exposure and networks.
