On Thursday, February 29, 2024, a barbecue program was successfully held at Pantai Sepat, Kuantan, with the attendance of FIST postgraduate students and staff. This marked the first-ever program of its kind. The program aimed to foster interaction and idea exchange between staff and 40 postgraduate students, while providing an opportunity to take a break from the busy research routine. In addition to grilled meat, participants contributed food for a potluck-style gathering, offering a diverse array of dishes. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as participants engaged in several games, including beach bowling and a thrilling lucky draw. Some students even participated in a karaoke session, singing a few songs to add to the lively atmosphere of the event.
