𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 𝐁𝐒𝐅𝟏𝟐𝟐𝟐 : 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
The Global Classroom 2025 session for the course BSF1222: Industry Safety Management was successfully conducted on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, via Microsoft Teams (Live). The one-hour international learning session brought together 53 students and academics through a collaborative global platform.
The session featured an invited guest speaker, Madam Septyani Prihatiningsih from Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), Indonesia, who delivered an insightful talk on “Personal Protective Equipment for Chemical Work: Selection and Fit Test.” The presentation provided students with theoretical knowledge on the correct selection and fitting of personal protective equipment (PPE) in chemical-related workplaces, highlighting its importance in ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
The session was coordinated and moderated by Dr. Aishah binti Mohd Marsin from the Faculty of Industrial Science and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).
Overall, the Global Classroom initiative successfully enhanced students’ understanding of industry safety management while fostering international academic collaboration between UMPSA and UNAIR, in line with efforts to internationalise teaching and learning at the higher education level
