𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐎𝐓𝐑𝐀 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐃𝐍. 𝐁𝐇𝐃. (𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐍)

On 15 December 2025, students from the BSB1183 Industrial Biotechnology course, Faculty of Science and Industrial Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), participated in an industrial visit to Cotra Enterprises Sdn. Bhd. (VITAGEN) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The visit aimed to provide students with exposure to real industrial practices, particularly in the field of food biotechnology and fermentation processes.

During the visit, students were introduced to the company background and VITAGEN product range through a briefing session and video presentation. They also had the opportunity to tour the production facility, where they gained insights into quality control measures, hygiene practices, and large-scale probiotic beverage manufacturing. An interactive question-and-answer session further enhanced students’ understanding of industrial operations and career pathways.

Overall, the visit successfully bridged theoretical knowledge learned in the BSB1183 Industrial Biotechnology course with real-world industrial applications. The faculty would like to express its sincere appreciation to Cotra Enterprises Sdn. Bhd. (VITAGEN) for their warm hospitality and valuable knowledge sharing
